Gemini Predictions fees explained
Gemini’s prediction markets charge a fee on each order based on price and size, the same shape as Kalshi’s. Maker orders are free through the end of 2026. Here is the formula, a fee table and what it means for two-sided trades.
The formulas
Taker fee = 0.07 × contracts × P × (1 − P)
Maker fee = 0.0175 × contracts × P × (1 − P)
Both rounded up to the next cent.
Gemini charges makers $0 on maker-side trades from September 2 through December 31, 2026. There’s no settlement fee and no fee to cancel a resting order.

Gemini vs Kalshi fees
The rates are the same: 0.07 for takers and 0.0175 for makers. The difference through 2026 is Gemini’s $0 maker fee. If you post a resting order instead of taking the best price, Gemini costs nothing to trade until January 1, 2027.
What it means for arbitrage
A spread between Gemini and another venue pays the taker fee on both legs. At 50¢ that’s 1.75¢ a contract on each side, so the two prices need to add up to less than about 96.5¢ before fees to leave anything. See the live odds for games listed on both, or check a trade in the arbitrage calculator.
